Annapolis, MD – It’s that time of the year when we file our taxes and sit back to get that refund check.
But due to the complex nature of taxes, it is often better to hire an expert or utilize free service that helps with taxes.
Starting Monday, February 4, 2019, trained tax volunteers for AARP
|Annapolis Senior Activity Center||119 S. Villa Road, Annapolis||410-222-1818|
|Arnold Senior Activity Center||44 Church Street, Arnold||410-222-1922|

The AARP Tax-Aide for each center has designated days and time they will be visiting. No walk-ins will be accepted and because appointments fill up really fast and most importantly, it is very important to call the local senior activity center closest to you.
The AARP Tax-Aide is a function under the AARP Foundation, a non-profit arm of AARP.
The function consists of volunteers who are certified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and they assist people with preparing their taxes and getting both Federal and State taxes filed.
Membership of AARP is not required to enjoy this program, neither is any age or income restrictions.
Volunteers only help with simple tax returns, filed electronically. They do not help with tax return involving partnerships, corporations, self-employed or rental properties.
